O mar apresenta-se, cada vez mais, como um território de oportunidades, espaço aberto à inovação, ao empreendedorismo, mas também à potenciação das atividades tradicionais.

Em Portugal e na Europa, aproveitar as oportunidades que o mar oferece, impulsionando um crescimento azul e sustentável, é um objetivo relevante, que pressupõe a existência de profissionais qualificados e altamente motivados. Que exige técnicos e empreendedores. Que exige conhecimento teórico e experiência prática. Que exige ligação ao passado e visão de futuro.

O projeto Tecatlatic procura dar resposta ao desafio que a necessidade de profissionais qualificados representa para a economia azul.

The sea is increasingly presenting itself as a land of opportunities, a space open to innovation and entrepreneurship, but also to boosting traditional activities.

In Portugal and in Europe, taking advantage of the opportunities offered by the sea, boosting blue and sustainable growth, is an important objective that requires qualified and highly motivated professionals. It requires technicians and entrepreneurs. It requires theoretical knowledge and practical experience. It requires a connection to the past and a vision of the future.

The Tecatlatic project seeks to respond to the challenge that the need for qualified professionals represents for the blue economy.

O que são os EEA Grants / What are EEA Grants?

Através do Acordo sobre o Espaço Económico Europeu (EEE), a Islândia, o Liechtenstein e a Noruega são parceiros no mercado interno com os Estados-Membros da União Europeia.

Como forma de promover um continuo e equilibrado reforço das relações económicas e comerciais, as partes do Acordo do EEE estabeleceram um Mecanismo Financeiro plurianual, conhecido como EEA Grants.

Os EEA Grants têm como objetivos reduzir as disparidades sociais e económicas na Europa

e reforçar as relações bilaterais entre estes três países e os países beneficiários.

Para o período 2014-2021, foi acordada uma contribuição total de 2,8 mil milhões de euros para 15 países beneficiários. Portugal beneficiará de uma verba de 102,7 milhões de euros. Saiba mais em eeagrants.gov.pt.

Through the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA), Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway are partners in the internal market with the Member States of the European Union.

As a way of promoting a continuous and balanced strengthening of economic and trade relations, the parties to the EEA Agreement established a multi-annual Financial Mechanism, known as the EEA Grants.

The EEA Grants aim to reduce social and economic disparities in Europe

and to strengthen bilateral relations between these three countries and the beneficiary countries.

For the 2014-2021 period, a total contribution of 2.8 billion euros has been agreed for 15 beneficiary countries. Portugal will receive 102.7 million euros. Find out more at eeagrants.gov.pt.

– em parceria com a Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade de Lisboa, com o Instituto de Estudos Políticos da Universidade Católica Portuguesa, com o Colégio Valsassina, todos de Portugal, e com o GCE Ocean Technology, da Noruega, conta ainda como o apoio institucional da Câmara Municipal de Lisboa e do Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research, da Alemanha. O projeto inclui ações de treino vocacional para jovens, treino para a empregabilidade em áreas consideradas chave para o desenvolvimento da economia azul e treino para o empreendedorismo.

Com o apoio dos EEA Grants, mecanismo financeiro plurianual através do qual a Islândia, o Liechtenstein e a Noruega apoiam financeiramente os Estados-Membros da União Europeia, o Tecatlantic assume-se como um projeto que aposta, de forma inovadora, na formação para a economia azul, junto de diferentes públicos-alvo, desde estudantes do ensino secundário a profissionais no ativo ou à procura de requalificação profissional.

– in partnership with the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, the Institute of Political Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University, Colégio Valsassina, all from Portugal, and GCE Ocean Technology, from Norway, it also has the institutional support of Lisbon City Council and the Alfred Wegener Institute for Polar and Marine Research, from Germany. The project includes vocational training for young people, employability training in areas considered key to the development of the blue economy and entrepreneurship training.

With the support of the EEA Grants, a multiannual financial mechanism through which Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway provide financial support to the Member States of the European Union, Tecatlantic is seen as a project that focuses on training for the blue economy in an innovative way, with different target audiences, from secondary school students to working professionals or those looking for retraining.
